Northern Michigan Farmers grow the healthiest and best tasting produce there is.  The Market Basket is proud to be able to serve the community by working with over 20 local farmers to provide the freshest produce in season.

Here’s a brief glimpse of what to look for throughout the spring, summer and fall!

May – Asparagus

June – Strawberries

July – Cherries, Zucchini, Summer Squash, Lettuce, Green Beans

August – Sweet Corn, Tomatoes, Blueberries, Peaches, Green Beans, Zucchini, Peppers, Melons, Potatoes

September – Apples, Apples, Apples!

October – Apples, Pumpkins, Squash

Of course, we carry a wide array of other fruits and veggies from around the country and the world that can’t be grown in Northern Michigan… but we are dedicated to always bringing you the freshest available!
